Aldous Berkeley, Canine Feral
We’re told on the www.genomex.net faux site that Berkeley is a canine feral, but watching “Whiter Shade of Pale”, truthfully there is nothing doglike about him.
Aldous [intended to remind us of Aldous Huxley, author of Brave New World] Berkeley isn’t the most inept lackey ever sent into the field by Mason Eckhart, but he isn’t completely incompetent. He does have a whiney voice. Clearly Mason dislikes him; that is obvious from the start when he greets him as “Aldon Berkeley, mutant informer”. Maybe it’s the whiney voice that Mason cannot stand.
For whatever reason, after the failure to capture Danielle Hartman, Berkeley is coerced to have a meal with Mason. His table manners are not the best, but that matters little because after a few moments, Berkeley collapses, dead by poisoning. There wasn’t any good reason to poison Berkeley, but we no longer have to listen to that whiney voice.
